Laboring in the Mission Field, Thoughtfully and Biblically
So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us - 2 Thes 2:15
1
Collaborating with existing institutions
Classical Christian education is an age-old missions strategy that must be rebuilt for our time. Humanitas operates in a space between the traditional missionary organization and the ACCS. We wish not to reinvent the wheel, but to bridge between the missionary workforce and the ACCS, working together to establish new Classical and Christian schools.
2
Strengthening the Church
In the last century, much effort has honorably been expended on strengthening the church by training leaders. Our approach is a bottom-up approach: form tomorrow's parents and parishioners before they are formed by secularism. Significantly, Classical Christian Education promises an end to remedial levels of theological education, raising the ceiling of theological training by first raising the floor.
3
Transfoming Communities
Economic aid and social services alone will not transform a community. This can only be done when godly men and women serve Christ and are devoted to Christian virtue lived out in the home, workplace, and neighborhood. "Let your light so shine among men so that others may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven."
